Helen Fu, Ph.D., MBA

Helen is VP and Head of Corporate Portfolio and Project Management at Jasper Therapeutics. Helen is a veteran in the pharmaceutical industry with >25 years experience in R&D both in US and China. Prior to joining Kira/Jasper in September 2020, Helen was VP and Head of Portfolio and Project Management at AstraZeneca’s China R&D Center. During her six year tenure, she built one of the largest portfolio and project management team in China that drove the delivery of the pipeline including the approval and launch of 14 new drugs in China. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Helen was with Merck for 14 years including more than 10 years in Merck Research Labs in New Jersey leading drug discovery projects. After returning to China in 2012, She was part of the team that built the China portfolio and streamlined the end-to-end development process. She also led the Chinese product development team for Keytruda and expanded the development into China prevalent tumor indications.

Helen received a BS degree in Biology from Wuhan University, Ph.D in Pharmacology and MBA in Pharmaceutical management from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
